Pursuit of Happiness

October 2018 | Bromfield Gallery, MA

In the summer of 2018, from growing exhaustion and lack of understanding in our current political rhetoric I spent the summer with Sofie Hodara researching the history of Presidential campaigns. This research concluded in the production of more than 50 letter-pressed American presidential campaign slogans. We then used augmented reality to bring to life the sometimes-unsettling and often-preposterous words of American political leaders from the past 200 years. As a whole, the posters portray the evolution of American values and inject a bit of humor into our current political climate. The posters were exhibited at Bromfield Gallery in Oct of 2018 and at Northeastern’s conference Interventions in 2019.
