###### Industrial Design Faculty Search Committee, Spring 2020


In the spring of 2020 I served as the cognate on the Industrial Design search committee for a tenure track position, with Jamie Read, Heather Reavey, and Lars Fischer. We interviewed five candidates and brought four to campus virtually in during the beginning of the pandemic, preparing a new format to tour, meet with students, and interview. The search successfully resulted in the hire of Jenny Kinard.

With a charge from the Colleges of the Fenway (COF) Presidents to develop a prototype for a distinctive collaborative academic program that capitalizes on the unique strengths of each of the five institutions and our location in the Longwood Medical Area, the COF Chief Academic Officers are launching a task force that will focus on a creating a new program on the Future of Healthcare Design.
